Critique Report:

From the Facebook Critique I had two comments on my flier and Kristen Dunnells gave the first. She focused on the line that ran down the toms symbol and the rest of the blue line and how that should be removed. Although I didn’t end up changing that line because it separated the Toms symbol it was a good idea and input. Alli Bohls gave the Second and she said that she actually liked the line previously talked about. She also menti oned the idea of removing the period from the body copy so that it lines up and I liked that Idea so that it was flesh. From the teacher critique she told me that I needed to focus of fixing my color pallets and then also maybe making the word all line up along the right side. I did just what she said and made my color pallets more clear and moved the text over so it was more aligned.

Written Process:

Message: that this flier gives off is to inform him about this one day that toms is going to donate a free pair of shoes to a child in need for everyone that uses there hashtag with a picture of your bare feet.

Audience: that is focused on is anyone that has a social media account and wants to do some good.

Color Scheme: I selected Blue, Green and Teal

Suzie, I really like your flyer. It is such a fun a playful idea and you did a good job at creating that feel both with your image and your fonts. I like the color scheme you choose, the cool colors create an inviting feel to your flyer. Your flow works really well and it is easy to take in all the information given. Great job! Another flyer that has a cool feel like your is Carrie Hunt’s you should check it out at https://carriehuntblog.wordpress.com/2016/05/18/5a-event-flier-project/

I love your flier. The whole look really supports the message. The picture is wonderful! I like how large it is, the texture of the sand on the child’s feet and the path. I love the idea behind your fundraiser and the way the text and boxes align. The colors look good and I really like how you added the TOMS logo on the left side– natrally into the design of your flier. Well done. Hi Susan- I really love the image you chose for this event flyer. It gives such a neat perspective of a runner. I also like the way your title is on color blocks so that they really show up against the image. Great job in pulling together a really interesting flyer. You can check out my flyer at https://lmgoodwi.wordpress.com/2016/05/18/event-flyer/. Another really neat flyer can be found at https://portfoliocolette.wordpress.com/2016/05/18/event-flier-project/. All three of us are using some sort of color block in our design, must be why I like them all. 🙂 Great job!!
